Your content is YOUR property! - you should be able to decide where it is hosted, and be free to move it from place to place.

Beware of "proprietary" Content Management Systems (CMSs) that lock you in to a single hosting supplier. We use open-standards CMSs that can be hosted almost anywhere. Certainly, you will find more than a handful of hosting services that will support WebGUI or Mambo. Verify it for yourself with a quick Google search.

Even if your hosting provider does not use a CMS that is peculiar to them, you may find that you will have a high licence cost to pay if you choose to move your system. Our WebGUI and Mambo CMSs are open-source and do not incur licence fees.

And even if your hosting provider uses an open-source CMS system,  they may simply have a "no transfer" policy. Check the fine print - or ask them a straight out question - "Can I take my content and move it elsewhere?"

At AIMTec we don't want you to feel locked in. We want you to stay with us for the very simple reason that with our level of service we provide the best value for money!

If however you should wish to move your WebGUI or Mambo site elsewhere, perhaps to your own in-house servers, we will not stand in your way. Indeed, we provide you with the means to regularly download your site content from our servers and even encourage you to do so so that you know you have your own valuable data safely backed up in your own possession.

At your option will even provide you with expert advice and support in moving your site to another host. Of course, doing this is our business, and you will understand that we will need to charge a fair and reasonable fee for this service.

Note - this policy only possible with open-source systems like Mambo and WebGUI.
